Who can use this, and what to watch for
Every point below comes from the same data file that drives the price table, so it cannot drift from the figures on this page.
Worth knowing
- Requires a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider.
- Paying cash bypasses your insurance, so what you spend here does not count toward your deductible or your out-of-pocket maximum.
- Mounjaro is approved for type 2 diabetes, not for weight management. Coverage and program eligibility follow the diabetes indication.
- Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes, not for weight management. Coverage and program eligibility follow the diabetes indication.
- Medicaid GLP-1 coverage is state-by-state. A federal program reported for 2026 negotiates terms on behalf of state Medicaid agencies, but participation is voluntary and what you pay depends on your own state. There is no national Medicaid price for these medications and this site does not publish one.
- This cash-pay pharmacy appears to be open to people who have Medicare or other government coverage but choose to pay cash and not use it. That is a different rule from the manufacturer savings card, which bars government-programme beneficiaries outright. We have not confirmed it directly, so verify before you rely on it.
- IMPORTANT: the low figure you have probably seen advertised for this pathway is reported NOT to apply to this dose at all. It is reported to cover only the two starting doses. At this dose the higher price is reported to apply from your FIRST fill, not after a promotional period. Arriving at the counter expecting the advertised figure could mean a difference of roughly 150 dollars on day one. Confirm your dose price before you fill.
- The end date of this offer is genuinely unclear: three different dates are in circulation and one of them has already passed. If an offer price matters to your decision, confirm it is still running before you fill.
- An offer covering one of these strengths is reported to expire at the end of August 2026, after which the price is reported to rise by roughly a third. If you are starting or continuing at this strength, confirm the current price rather than relying on a figure published earlier in the year.
Flat pricing, with one unresolved question
The direct cash price for the injectable products has been reported as flat across doses, which if true makes NovoCare unusually simple to reason about compared with tiered programs.
The oral product is where the reporting conflicts. Two different monthly figures are in circulation for the starting dose. They may describe genuinely different things, such as a first-fill price against an ongoing price, or a direct price against a retail price with a savings offer applied. We could not establish which, and we will not average two figures into a third that no one charges. Until it is resolved, that price renders as unverified.
Cash-pay and your deductible
As with any manufacturer direct-pay program, paying cash bypasses your insurance, so the amount does not count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. A prescription is still required.
